First American Title Insurance Co. is moving from the ASQ Center to 833 E. Michigan St. Aug. 1, as Milwaukee commercial real estate developer Irgens continues leasing space in its newest downtown Milwaukee office tower.
As of this week, 833 East is 72 percent leased, which includes the lease with First American Title. The 18-story, 156,162-square-foot 833 East building opened in March.
First American will lease 6,000 square feet on the fifth floor, across from Colliers International/Wisconsin. The Santa Ana, Calif.-based title company had been leasing space on the fourth floor of the ASQ Center at 648 N. Plankinton. Both buildings are owned by Irgens.
The company would not comment on the move.
Milwaukee law firm Godfrey & Kahn S.C. is the anchor tenant in the 833 building, leasing 77,817 square feet of space.
Irgens occupies 25,328 square feet; Colliers leases 20,422 square feet; Jason Inc. leases 26,043 square feet; and KPMG LLP leases 12,000 square feet. Johnson Controls Inc.’s automotive spinoff, Adient, occupies the 11th floor, leasing 26,089 square feet.
Other tenants include Rhinelander-based Heck Capital Advisors LLC, Grace Matthews, First American, Travel Associates, Cresa and Catalyst Construction.
Madison-based Noble Chef Hospitality opened Rare Steakhouse on the ground floor of the building June 4.
